, oregon, california, nevada, idaho, and then moving into wyoming, parts of colorado, utah, and montana. still a few showers throughout the extreme southeast coast here along the atlantic side. the warmest air will be in the south. and it's even going to be mild in the northern plains. 56 in minneapolis is quite mild for this time of year. one storm after another moving into the pacific northwest. watch those snow levels come down saturday night into sunday. be careful when you're traveling through the mountain passes in the coming weeks in the west because those snow levels will fluctuate. there will be times it will be dangerous to travel through those mountain passes. so check the latest conditions before you head through the mountains. here's a look at the temperatures for sunday. still very mild, well above average in some cases 20 degrees above average throughout parts of the upper midwest. cold front eventually going to swing through on monday bringing a chance for some showers. still looking at the pacific northwest for most of the action. same story again on tuesday. front now

you on the radar. california, a lot of rain, california and oregon today where the biggest system is for now. a little light rain and snow across the dakotas. nothing big there. flights in and out of florida might be a little slow today because of extra rain showers from jacksonville down toward the palm beach, south florida. no big storms our way. that is welcome news. high pressure is in charge. we're off to a great start and a great start to your weekend. skies remain mostly clear overnight tonight. another pretty good night. here is a picture of one of the leonid meteors early this morning. if you can get a quick peek at the dark sky overnight you might see a few more meteors but clouds on the increase. the northeasterly wind often brings a lot of cloud cover. that starts to arrive tomorrow and builds into monday and tuesday. so today nothing to worry about. mostly sunny and nice. highs up into the low 50s. a little bit cooler than average. not too bad with the sunshine. more clouds tomorrow. especially by tomorrow afternoon. as a result probably just a touch cooler. not much if

and down the california coast line. across the middle of the country a little light snow in the dakotas. no big storm system anywhere to worry about. some rain showers out across parts of the florida peninsula. back here at home in the mid-atlantic nothing to worry yourself about for travel plans for this weekend as high pressure is in charge and this main area of high pressure will be in charge of our weather not just for today but all the way through at least the front half of the upcoming week. so nice and sunny today. clear skies through most of the overnight as well. then tomorrow that northeasterly wind starts to set up shop around here. a northeast wind means generally speaking more clouds than sunshine around here and i think that pattern will continue to build in more and more clouds as we get toward sunday night, monday, and tuesday. again, not a whole lot in the way of rain chances. so for today, then, on your saturday mostly sunny. a nice day outside today. temperatures still a touch cooler than average but not too bad. low to mid 50s. sun down at 4:53. then for tomo

for jobs and subsidies are relatively easy. california -- [laughter] anybody from california? california, illinois, connecticut, thank you. but those states are doing is raising taxes, raising regulations and so that's, you know, we are competing. but we do every day is to try and find companies out there that can't compete. i think about simply if you're a business come to think of yourself as a consumer. as a consumer, name the time did the research yourself, i think i'll pay more for the project because i know that company is headquartered in a high tax state. or gosh, i know they have more regulations saw pay more for the product because i know cost the company more for more regulations or takes longer to get a permit. you don't do it. so if we make sure that florida businesses have lower taxes, less regulation and faster permitting time, a pro-business attitude to our businesses will outcompete everybody and will get more jobs and that's what we're doing every day. in contrast, my biggest competitor is texas. texas has been doing the right thing. if you look at it in the
